Like after Follow

Getting a new follower is great, but what you do next can make a big difference in keeping them around. Nitreo’s Like after Follow feature gives you a simple way to show new followers you are paying attention without adding more to your plate. It is a small move that feels personal, even if it is running automatically in the background. How Like after follow works When someone follows you back, Nitreo steps in and likes a few of their recent posts. Usually, it is one to three likes, depending on how active their account is. We space the likes out over a couple of days so it looks natural. No mass liking, no strange bursts of activity. Old posts are skipped, and everything is kept in a window that makes sense based on how recently they posted. All likes happen before any unfollowing takes place, which keeps the timing feeling right from their side too. Setting it up Like after Follow is already running by default if you are in Auto Mode, but if you ever want to double-check, it is easy: Head to your Nitreo dashboard Open the Dynamics page, and find the Like after Follow toggle. If it is on, you are good to go. If you ever want to pause it, you can flip it off with one click. Of course, it's advisable to keep it on because it helps build small but real engagement without extra work. Worth mentioning: These few things are happening behind the scenes to keep the Like after Follow activity feeling natural: - Likes are spaced out over a couple of days instead of landing all at once - We only like one to three posts, depending on how active the user is - Old posts that are no longer relevant are skipped automatically - This feature only triggers for followers who actually followed you back - You can track the number of likes sent right inside your Dynamics section There is a slight delay between when someone follows you and when the likes happen, but that timing is intentional. It helps everything blend into your normal account behavior.

Targeting suggestions

If you are not sure where to start with picking Targets, Nitreo can help. Our Targeting Suggestions are built to make it easier for you to find accounts that are already pulling results for others in your niche. You still pick your Targets, Nitreo just makes it a little easier to point yourself in the right direction from the start. How Targeting Suggestions work When you start adding Targets inside your dashboard, you will notice suggested ones showing up automatically. Nitreo looks at broad engagement patterns across similar accounts and matches suggestions to the category you fall under. We detect your general niche when you sign up, so the recommendations are already filtered to fit where you are starting. If the suggestions seem off or you shift your focus, you can update your account category at any time inside your dashboard. After you do that, your Targeting Suggestions will refresh to match the new direction. Worth mentioning You do not have to switch anything on — suggestions are part of the system by default. But there are a few small things worth knowing: - Suggested Targets are ranked based on how often they lead to followbacks - Location is not factored in, so you might see accounts from outside your desired location - Instagram decides how account categories are grouped, which means some niches have a lot more suggestions than others - New suggestions get added over time, so it is a good idea to check back when you are updating your strategy

Welcome DMs Explained 💬

Sometimes a quick message at the right time can make all the difference. Nitreo’s Welcome DMs let you reach out to your new followers automatically, without adding any extra steps to your day. It is a simple way to say hello, make a first impression, or just point people toward something you are working on. How Welcome DMs work When you turn on Welcome DMs, Nitreo will send a custom message to each new follower you gain through the system. You write the message once, and from there, Nitreo handles the sending for you. Messages are sent with a small delay so they feel natural, not automatic. In other words, the messages go out before Nitreo unfollows anyone, so your new followers will still see them while they are paying attention. It gives you a better chance to make an impression without feeling rushed. Setting up your Welcome DMs Just head to your Nitreo dashboard, open the Dynamics page, and look for the Welcome DMs section. Switch it on, type out your message, and save it when you are ready. You can change or update your message anytime if you want to test new approaches! Things to keep in mind - Welcome DMs are only sent when Auto Mode is active. If growth is paused, messages will also pause until everything is running again. - Since there is a slight delay before messages are sent, do not expect them to land the second someone follows you. That timing is built in on purpose to keep everything feeling more natural. - You can check how many Welcome DMs have been sent right from your dashboard if you want to track how it is working.

The Follow/Unfollow method

It’s simple, but it works: when someone gets a follow from an account that looks relevant to them, they usually check it out. If the profile clicks, they follow back. That’s the core of the follow/unfollow method, and it’s been driving real Instagram growth for years. Nitreo takes this concept and runs it through a system built to feel natural, stay within Instagram’s limits, and connect you with people who actually care about your content. Here’s how the flow goes: 1. You connect your Instagram Log into your Instagram through the secure Nitreo dashboard. This gives the system permission to start engaging on your behalf. 2. You pick your targets Targets are the accounts and hashtags your audience already follows or uses. Once you’ve added them, Nitreo uses those as a map to find the kind of users who would probably engage with your content too. 3. Nitreo starts following people The system follows users slowly at first, just enough to blend in with normal activity. Over the next few days, it gradually ramps up, staying within safe limits based on your account’s age and history. 4. Visibility kicks in Once someone gets followed, Nitreo views their stories too. This combo of a follow + storyview makes your account show up more often, and more naturally, in notifications. 5. Then we unfollow After a couple of days, Nitreo goes back and unfollows the people it previously followed. Not because they’re not important, but because you can’t follow thousands of users forever. Keeping that follower/following ratio clean matters, especially for long-term growth. 6. We protect your connections Nitreo won’t touch anyone you followed before connecting your account. Those users are automatically whitelisted. If you follow someone new later and want to keep them, you can add them to your own list too. To sum it up Why does this method still work after all these years? You’re not following random users. You’re showing up in front of people who already interact with accounts like yours, which naturally leads to more engagement and ultimately, more followers. The system just does it in the background while you focus on creating content.

Nitreo’s tech explained

Growing an audience on Instagram isn’t about who can move fastest anymore. It’s about who moves smart. That’s where Nitreo steps in — designed to make your growth feel natural, safe, and sustainable, without putting your account at risk. Here’s a closer look at how the tech behind Nitreo actually works. We run on real devices, not emulators Unlike old-school automation tools that rely on bots or fake browser sessions, Nitreo’s activity comes from actual mobile phones. Every follow, like, and view is made from a real device, like you’d use your phone at home. Instagram picks up on patterns. Fake traffic looks fake. Real devices behave naturally, keeping your account activity under the radar. You get a dedicated setup When you join Nitreo, your account is assigned its own phone and a clean residential IP address. This makes all your actions appear local, consistent, and 100% human. This makes sure your account looks like it’s being run by a real person from a real place — because technically, it is. We move the way real users do Growth is about blending in, not standing out. Nitreo doesn’t blast your account with back-to-back follows or copy-paste behaviors. We start slow, warm your account up over a few days, and gradually ramp things up once your activity feels natural to Instagram. Pauses, breaks, profile views, Story taps, small bursts of engagement...everything is designed to mimic real human behavior, not a script. Key takeaway: Instagram is cracking down harder than ever on unnatural activity. Spammy automation? It gets flagged fast. Nitreo’s system keeps your account safe while helping you build your audience. When your growth looks natural, you avoid action blocks and attract better followers — people who stick around, engage, and help your account grow in the long run.

Close Friends Auto-adder

Most creators sleep on one of Instagram’s easiest visibility tricks: the green circle. When you use Close Friends Stories the right way, you are not only boosting views but also strengthening your relationship with your audience. Nitreo’s Close Friends Auto-adder helps you take full advantage of it without any extra work. Here is how it works Once you activate the feature inside the dashboard, your followers start getting added to your Close Friends list automatically. New or old, every single one, up to 1,000 followers a day. The system keeps it steady and organic so your activity stays under Instagram’s radar and your followers experience it naturally. When you share a Story with your Close Friends list, it stands out right away. That green ring catches people’s eyes and makes them more curious to watch. As more followers start seeing and reacting to your Stories, your engagement starts picking up naturally. Not because you paid extra for ads or fought the algorithm, but because you tapped into Instagram’s own system. Manage your list easily If you want to pause the feature, you can do it anytime from your Nitreo dashboard. If you want to keep your list tidy, the auto-remove option lets you clean things up without affecting any followers you added to your original Close Friends list. Instagram does not send notifications when users are added or removed from Close Friends, so everything happens quietly, without any alerts or interruptions. Key takeaway If you want to stay visible to your followers and give your content a better chance to stand out, this feature is one of the simplest moves you can make. You will find the Close Friends Auto-adder available on Nitreo’s Speed plan. Turn it on, let it work in the background, and focus on posting the kind of content your audience will keep coming back for.

Growth Pods vs Targeted Growth

Growing your Instagram account with Nitreo can go in two different directions. You can either focus on getting faster visibility or work toward building a more relevant, engaged audience over time. It all depends on where you are starting and what you want to achieve. Here’s how both options work. Growth Pods Network By default, every Nitreo user starts inside the Growth Pods Network since this method is all about getting you seen...faster. When you are placed into a Growth Pod, your account gets shared inside a network of real Instagram users in a similar niche, which drives the followers growth. One of the easiest parts about Growth Pods is that you do not need to set anything up. Your account just starts building followers right away, which helps it look more active and established early on. Important note: Since the followers are not exactly 100% targeted, engagement rates can vary. The main goal here is to grow your follower count quickly, helping you build some momentum when you need it most. Targeted Growth Targeted Growth takes a slower but more focused approach. Instead of relying on passive visibility, Nitreo actually engages with users who are already following accounts or hashtags you have selected as Targets. It works like this: • You pick Targets that match the audience you want • Nitreo follows those users, likes a few posts, views their stories, and can send DMs if you want • After a few days, Nitreo automatically unfollows the accounts it engaged with This method pulls in highly-targeted users, making it much more likely they will stick around and interact with your content over time. Growth happens more slowly compared to Growth Pods, but the audience you build is stronger and should be much more aligned with your ideal type of followers. Switching between systems As previously mentioned, every Nitreo user starts inside the Growth Pods Network, but if you decide to shift toward a more targeted, engagement-focused strategy, you can switch to Targeted Growth directly from your dashboard. There is no lock-in. You can move between systems depending on what your account needs at any time. Think of it as this: Growth Pods are great when you need to push visibility quickly. Targeted Growth is the better option when you are ready to start building an audience that fits your content more closely.

Followbacks, Activity & Queue

Inside your Nitreo dashboard, there are a few sections that show you exactly how your growth is moving. Followbacks, Activity, and Queue each give you different insights into what is happening as Nitreo works behind the scenes. Here’s how each one fits into the bigger picture. Followbacks Followbacks track which users decided to follow you back after Nitreo interacted with them. Every followback you see is linked to the specific Target that led to the interaction, which makes it easier to understand which Targets are actually performing. The Followbacks data will not show up instantly. Nitreo waits a couple of days before tracking it because people need time to follow you back. Usually, the numbers update about two to four days after the system first follows someone. Here is what to look for: - If you are seeing around a 10% followback rate or higher, your Targets are probably a good fit. - If it drops under 5%, it is usually a sign that the Target is not connecting well and should be swapped out. Checking this now and then helps you figure out which Targets are actually helping your account grow and which ones are just slowing things down. Activity The Activity section is where you can see everything Nitreo has done for your account. It logs every action, including follows and unfollows, and shows which Target each action is tied to. You can also check timestamps if you want to track how active your growth has been over a certain period. If you are trying out new strategies or adjusting your Target list, reviewing Activity helps you spot what is working faster and what might need adjusting before it slows down your momentum. Queue The Queue shows the users Nitreo is lined up to engage with next. If you remove someone from the Queue, Nitreo will pull in a new user from the same Target to replace them. However, if you delete an entire Target, any users already sitting in the Queue from that Target will still be processed unless you manually take them out. The Queue does most of the work automatically, but it is helpful to check if you are making changes to your Targets or want more control over upcoming interactions. Key takeaway Checking Followbacks, Activity, and Queue every so often gives you a better grip on how your account is growing. Taking a few minutes to check these now and then makes it way easier to catch small problems before they turn into bigger ones. Remember, it's much easier to swap a bad Target early or spot when things slow down than to figure it out weeks later when growth stalls!

Whitelist & Blacklist

When you are using Nitreo to grow your Instagram, it helps to have some control over who your account interacts with. That is where the Whitelist and Blacklist come in. They are pretty simple once you get the hang of them, but they make a big difference. The Blacklist The Blacklist is where you tell Nitreo who to leave alone. If there are users you do not want anything to do with, like spam profiles, random pages that have nothing to do with your niche, or even competitors, you just add them here. Once someone is blacklisted, Nitreo will stop following, liking, or watching their stories. It does not undo anything you might have done before, but nothing new will happen with those accounts after that. It is not something you need to update every day, but every once in a while, it is worth looking at if your growth feels a little messy or off-track. The Whitelist The Whitelist works the other way around. It is how you protect people you want to stay connected with. When you first set up your account, Nitreo automatically whitelists everyone you were already following. That way, it does not accidentally unfollow a friend, a client, or someone you actually care about keeping in your feed. If you start following new users later, you have to add them to your Whitelist manually if you want to be sure Nitreo skips them during unfollow cycles. It only takes a few seconds and helps protect important connections you would not want to lose. Key takeaway Both lists are easy to update whenever you need. You do not have to obsess over them, but checking in every so often helps keep your growth feeling right, especially if your niche changes or you are getting different types of followers than you want. Think of the Whitelist and Blacklist as a small things that save you from bigger headaches later.
